Matcha Mango Smoothie With Milk, Lime, Chia and Ginger

Mango is a truly impressive fruit. It really goes perfectly with everything – other fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and of course Matcha green tea. Lots of studies show that mango has the ability to protect against different types of cancer, help proper digestion, and boost the immune system. Furthermore, mango is a perfect and a natural way to get a clear and shiny skin without clogged pores and pimples.

Just one medium-sized fruit contains 25% of the needed daily value of vitamin A and 100% of the daily need for the vitamin C. It is a perfect source of folate, vitamin B6, vitamin K, and potassium.

This is why I have chosen mango to be the base of this powerful smoothie. However,  I always like like to try something new. This beautiful combination with a creamy texture and vibrant color is combined with whole lime – another massive source of vitamin C.

Add some milk and yogurt for your daily dose of proteins, omega-3 fatty acids loaded chia seeds, and of course super-healthy Matcha green tea. Blend and enjoy!

As I said before, I like to experiment with my Matcha green tea smoothie combinations. This recipe will give you two servings of a powerful detox smoothie you can drink all day long.

However, if you're in a hurry or simply don't feel like drinking two cups of smoothie, a great idea is to freeze the remaining mixture. It will give you a wonderful frozen yogurt or even a beautiful Matcha green tea ice cream you can enjoy later. Top with some fresh berries, whipping cream, or hot fudge sauce. Have fun!
