Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp natural cane sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes (optional)

Utensils

  • Sharp paring knife
  • Blender

DIRECTIONS

  • Place the shot glasses in the freezer for about ten minutes before serving.

  • Using a sharp paring knife, peel and chop the ginger. Combine with other ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Optionally add some ice in the blender. Serve immediately.

  • If you're not a big fan of almond milk, you can replace it with soy, rice, hemp, or a regular milk. I personally love the nutty flavor and even like to add a handful of nuts in a blender and mix them well. Ginger will add a nice boost of energy and that recognizable taste I adore! Naturally, it can also be replaced with some other sweet spices like cinnamon that will fit in this combination perfectly.
