Preparation Matcha Chocolate Doughnuts

The spongy texture of this fantastic recipe goes perfectly with a cup of tea, warm milk, or cocoa and can be served as a quick breakfast to go or a wonderful afternoon snack for the entire family. You can serve these beautiful doughnuts with some melted chocolate, chocolate fudge sauce, maple syrup, your favorite jam, or simply with some fruits or nuts. Sprinkle with shredded coconut for a little extra flavor and you're good to go.

Making of Doughnuts

I have decided to go with a classic chocolate version of this beautiful recipe. You’ll need about 7-10 ounces of high-quality dark chocolate. Roughly chop the chocolate and place in a double boiler. Gently melt over medium heat and drizzle over doughnuts (you can even dip the entire doughnut in the chocolate – you will get some extra calories but it’s definitely worth it!). Place doughnuts on a wire rack and cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
